Online Art as Therapy Courses
The Woman Within
A series of mini courses for women who have experienced abuse
You apologise before you've done anything wrong. You go quiet when you want to speak. You say yes, then spend days resenting it. You wonder why you still react this way when you know you're safe now.
These aren't flaws in your character. They are ways you learnt to protect yourself. The Woman Within helps you understand them, gently and at your own pace, so you can begin to reconnect with who you are underneath.
How it works
Each mini course focuses on one part of life after abuse. Every course stands on its own, so you can start with whichever one speaks to you most and add others when you're ready. New courses are added to the series over time.
What's inside each course
• Short video lessons grounded in how the nervous system responds to trauma
• A guided art therapy exercise, no art experience needed
• Watch anytime, on your phone or laptop, and keep access to revisit
Who it's for
Women who have experienced abuse and want to understand themselves with compassion rather than judgement. You don't need to share your story with anyone to take part.
Who's teaching
Anit Kaur is a qualified MA Art Therapist working with women online worldwide, and Artist Ambassador for Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse.

These courses are educational. They are not therapy and do not replace professional support. Go at your own pace, pause whenever you need to, and skip anything that doesn't feel right for you today. If you are in danger, please contact your local emergency services.

Qualified Art Therapist • MA Art Therapy

I created these courses to make trauma-informed, art-based exploration more accessible, so you can begin understanding your responses in your own time and space.
You don’t need to be an artist. The focus isn’t on making beautiful art. It’s on what you notice, express and discover through the process.
